Ramaiah Evolute, the cross-disciplinary startup initiative, which was launched in March this year, by the Ramaiah Group of Institutions, has selected 24 entrepreneurial ventures that it will help incubate. They have been chosen to participate in the Star Startup Award and Ramaiah Evolute programme from applicants from across the country.
The Century Program — a corporate-SME bridge program, the brainchild of innovation management startup Lumos Labs, organized in partnership with industry leaders ŠKODA AUTO DigiLab India, Microsoft India, and Tech Mahindra, identified the top 6 enterprise-grade blockchain solutions.
The India Blockchain Accelerator shortlists 14 early-stage startups for its mentorship and financing program. The program is a join initiative by the government of Telangana, CoinSwitch and Lumos Labs
The government has taken up initiatives to develop an ecosystem for the industry in the state, Jayesh Ranjan, principal secretary, ITE&C and industries, government of Telangana, commented. “Realising the potential of blockchain technology, the government with industry leaders hope to provide opportunities to the participating startups to pilot their solution in Telangana so that they can enhance their solution and further contribute to the accelerating Indian technology sector,” he added.
Blockchain technology is unique as it cannot be implemented by just an individual organization but needs an ecosystem with an industry-wide approach. With multiple proofs of concepts being announced, the organizations should work together to ensure that multiple ecosystems can operate cohesively.
After receiving a response of 500+ applications from various startups solving different problems ranging in the fields of DeFi, NFTs, Metaverse, Tokenisation and Sustainability, we’ve arrived at a list of 20 startups that will be entering the month-long bootcamp.
